Frequently asked questions
General
Carbon fibers are usually combined with other materials to form a composite. When impregnated with a plastic resin and baked it forms carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer (often referred to as carbon fiber) which has a very high strength-to-weight ratio, and is extremely rigid although somewhat brittle. Carbon fibers are also composited with other materials, such as graphite, to form reinforced carbon-carbon composites, which have a very high heat tolerance. It also has a very unique stylish and modern appearance
• carbon fiber is lighter and stronger than aluminium
• carbon fiber 5 times stronger than steel and 3 times lighter
• carbon fiber has higher stiffness
• carbon fiber has higher tensile strength
• carbon fiber has low weight to strength ratio
• carbon fiber has high chemical resistance
• carbon fiber has Higher temperature tolerant to excessive heat
• carbon fiber has low thermal expansion
